Lloyd Walker Design has expanded across the border and is now showing works at the “Grosse Pointe Art Center” in Detroit Michigan. www.grossepointeartcenter.org  The statues residing at the Grosse Pointe Art Center are indicated under each series.

The Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery located in the Centre in the square on Queen St. had their Black & Gold Gala event October 22nd. 2009 and the “Ballroom dancers” from the dance series were included in the silent auction to raise funds for the arts program.

In the process of photographing these figures for this web site, Lloyd discovered the photos themselves offered a unique and beautiful option as a wall print for framing. The photo gallery illustrates each statues sizes under the first image of each work. The wall prints are available for each of the photos illustrated in the gallery in a variety of sizes and colour options. (Please email for details)

Good morning Lloyd!

 

I gave your cycle sculpture to my close friend/client last night!  Don absolutely loved it!  In fact, throughout dinner he kept saying, "I can't believe the gift you gave me!".

 

As you know, I wanted to give Don something special for his 40th birthday - something that is meaningful to him and that he would hold dear for the rest of his life!  I think we hit the mark!

 

Thank you so much for creating a piece that allowed me to present the kind of gift I had in my head and heart!
